Federal Government’s Maritime Coordinator Visits TAMSEN MARITIM

As part of his summer tour of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Federal Government’s Maritime Coordinator, Dr. Christoph Ploß, Member of the German Parliament (Bundestag), visited TAMSEN MARITIM together with his delegation.

During a tour of the facilities, Dr. Ploß gained first-hand insight into the shipyard’s capabilities, ongoing projects, and future development plans. Discussions focused on the importance of Germany’s shipbuilding industry, the role of innovative shipyards in strengthening the country’s maritime sector, and the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.

The visit formed part of the Maritime Coordinator’s four-day tour of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, aimed at engaging directly with key stakeholders in the maritime industry and learning more about the region’s strengths in shipbuilding and maritime innovation.
