TAMSEN MARITIM Welcomes “Maritime Spurensuche” Initiative

On Friday, 26 June 2026, TAMSEN MARITIM was pleased to welcome around 30 students from Don Bosco School as part of the “Maritime Spurensuche” (Maritime Heritage Discovery) educational initiative, organised by the Hanse Sail Association Rostock (www.hansesailverein.de)

Arriving aboard the historic fire-fighting vessel “FLB 40-3”, the group visited our shipyard to gain first-hand insights into modern shipbuilding, our specialised services, and the career and apprenticeship opportunities available at TAMSEN MARITIM.

Despite the exceptionally hot summer weather, the visit was a great success, offering the students an exciting opportunity to connect maritime heritage with today’s innovative maritime industry.

We would like to thank the Hanse Sail Association Rostock, the “Maritime Spurensuche” team, the crew of FLB 40-3, and everyone involved for their visit. We look forward to welcoming the initiative back again next year.
